Auditing remains one of the most popular branches into the accounting industry where fresh graduates seek employment. This is due to the fact that the auditing profession exposes graduates to different situations, enabling them to learn and absorb a wide amount of knowledge crucial for future advancement
in other areas of accountancy, i.e consultancy, advisory and analysis on financial matters. Most importantly, bottom line staff (junior auditors) are already pocketing a reasonable high amount.
A recent survey based in Singapore has indicated the current market salary for auditors:
